Actor Émilie Dequenne, who had a role in BBC drama The Missing, has died aged 43.Dequenne revealed in October 2023 that she hadadrenocortical carcinoma. a rare cancer of the adrenal gland.
She died on Sunday at a hospital near Paris. The Belgian actor rose to fame in the filmRosetta, for which she won Best Actress at the Cannes film festival .
Dequenne went on to win a number of other awards for her French language films. Her last film was the English language movie Suirvive.
