Princess Kate has sent a heartwarming message to Jack Draper after his incredible win.
Draper, 23, who grew up in Sutton, beat Denmark’s Holger Rune in the Indian Wells final on Sunday evening, marking the biggest title of his career.
The tennis player was dominant from the start as he beat the world number 13 player, Rune.
Draper, who is now the UK’s number one men’s player, lifted his first trophy at an ATP Masters event, the tier below the four Grand Slam tournaments.

Princess Kate, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, posted a message of congratulations on X and Instagram.
She wrote: “Congratulations, Jack. A fantastic performance. Well Done. C.”
The “C” meant the post was sent directly by the Princess of Wales.
After beating Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz in Saturday’s semi-finals, Draper was guaranteed to climb into the world’s top 10 for the first time.

The English left-hander is now moving up to seventh in the ATP rankings on Monday.
After the victory, Draper said: “I’m incredibly happy, obviously, and incredibly proud of my achievements this week.”
He added: “I said at the end of last year I wanted to be competing with the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and all the players who are competing for big titles.
“It’s one thing saying it but it’s another thing doing it.
