A man has revealed what it is really like to enjoy flight class after spending a whopping $10,000 [£8,000] on a plane seat.

Jetting off can be the highlight for many, but the charm often wears off when cramped in standard seating for hours on end. Who hasn’t fantasised about toasting with bubbly in the expansive comfort of first class? Well, some airlines have taken luxury to new heights, turning what seems like a typical aircraft cabin into the epitome of opulence.

Globetrotter Jordan, who is a hit online for his over-the-top travel content, has travelled to 131 countries. His latest adventure took him aboard Singapore Airlines, cocooned in a first-class suite so plush you’d forget you are on a flight. This viral snippet of his journey has already mesmerised more than 24 million viewers on TikTok.

He teased viewers, asking: “POV: Boarding a $10,000 first class suite. Do you think the price is worth it?”.

Fully immersed in the high-flying life, Jordan was led up to the second level of a double decker jet where he entered an expansive personal space, complete with a sumptuous leather chair, a snug bed, an extensive TV, and a handy side table. He dined on a lavish spread, including belly pork, caviar, and a chocolate dessert, all served on a table decked out with a cloth and proper silverware—as he soared toward Singapore.

The content creator, better known as @countingcountries, was also treated to a cosmetics bag filled with products from luxury brand Lalique, as well as a pair of Lalique pyjamas. The spacious bathroom features a dressing table area, a large mirror, and funky neon lights.

The video sparked a debate in the comments section, with some viewers being left impressed while others argued it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag. “For a 15 hour flight, worth every penny,” one person commented.

Another viewer chimed in: “If I was rich I would in a heart beat. Sleeping, laying down on a plane seems like the best.” A frequent flyer of Singapore Airlines first class added: “I’ve taken this flight three times in the past 10 years. This airline really knows how to do first class. Only difference is, I didn’t pay for it my company paid for it.

“Hell yeah it’s worth it,” another viewer wrote. “Wow just once in my life I’d like to experience that,” another person shared.

However, many were left shocked by the price. “Not worth 10K…you can hire a whole small jet for that money,” one person pointed out. “Sorry but definitely not worth $10K,” another agreed. “Absolutely not worth it,” echoed a third.

Another viewer added: “It’s cool, but I don’t really see how it’s worth it.” One person quipped: “10K for a swivel chair and a camp bed. Nice though.

“All that money for a couple of hours,” another pointed out. Referring to Jordan’s reviews of other first class flights he has experienced, one viewer said: “Nothing can compare to Etihad Residence,” commented one fan.

“I think Emirates first class is better,” commented another person. Jordan had previously remarked that Etihad’s ‘The Residence’ is “the best first class seat in the sky” and “nothing compares to it.” For this unparalleled experience, he forked out a hefty $9,000 [£6,937].
