Coldplay are just a few short months away from finally hitting the UK with their Music of the Spheres tour. During this enormous stint of shows, the band – which is comprised of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Phil Harvey – will play ten shows at London’s Wembley Stadium throughout

On top of that, they’ll hit Hull’s Craven Park Stadium for the first time ever. There, they’ll play two consecutive shows.

Across these dates, Coldplay will play their music to more than 1 million people. The setlist will no doubt include some of the band’s incredible hits, including Yellow, The Scientist, Viva La Vida, and plenty more.

Tickets for these shows were released last year, with plenty available – however, they didn’t last long. Most of the band’s tickets sold out in no time.

As a result, fans have since been left looking for resale tickets across the internet, with a number of second-hand sellers coming up as the most popular, including viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub. And, what’s more, some of these tickets are cheaper than one might expect.

While resale tickets have a reputation for being rather expensive, that’s not always the case. And Coldplay currently has some tickets available from viagogo for around £100.

viagogo and resale tickets

Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

With that said, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee.”
