The area’s best farm shop is located between Bristol and Bath, according to our readers. Flourish, on Glenavon Farm, in Saltford, was crowned winner after a public vote.
The farm shop got more than 65 per cent of the votes, followed by Easter Compton Farm Shop and then Gatcombe Farm Shop, on Weston Road, Flax Bourton.
According to its website, the shop is “bursting with carefully selected, quality produce and products – from everyday essentials to extra special treats.
“With a wide range of organic, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan products”.
It adds on its website: “Discover locally produced meats, speciality cheeses, delicious deli products, freshly baked breads and exquisite patisserie.

Having received nearly 600 reviews, Flourish has an average Google rating of 4.1. A recent reviewer praised the lunch options, saying: “Always top place for brunch. Never fails.”
While another one said: “Lovely farm shop and restaurant great use of local produce!”
