Michelle Keegan has broken her silence after giving birth to her first child with husband Mark Wright – sharing a sweet image and caption on Instagram earlier this week.
The couple announced the birth on Wednesday with a touching black-and-white photo of their newborn’s tiny hand. Her face was kept out of frame and wearing a sweet white bonnet.
They captioned the post: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright. 06.03.25.”
Yesterday, the former Coronation Street actress took to her Instagram Story to thank their fans for their messages following the arrival of their daughter, sharing another rare glimpse into their private life.
Her first story upload saw a photo of multiple balloons decorating their Essex mansion, including one with “Baby Girl” written on it, capturing a stunning rainbow stretching across the sky outside their countryside home.
The second post saw Keegan repost the birth announcement, writing a message underneath that read: “Thank you to everyone for your lovely messages.”

Baby Palma Elizabeth was born in London’s exclusive Portland Hospital, which is used by the Royal Family, with her name paying tribute to the Spanish city where they own a second home.
The couple also chose Palma for their pregnancy announcement back in December 2024, which saw Keegan cradling her baby bump while Wright walked toward his growing family.
Wright’s family were quick to comment on their announcement and show off how proud they were to welcome the arrival of their first granddaughter and niece into the clan.
Keegan’s sister-in-law and former Towie star Jessica Wright shared an emotional tribute on her Instagram Stories, which read: “Most beautiful addition to our family. I finally have a niece, and I am so in love.”

She also left a simple comment underneath their birth announcement which read: “My angel niece. Love you so much already, my girlie.”
Wright’s father, Mark Sr, commented: “Grandad’s little living doll, absolutely beautiful, love you so much Palma,” before his mother Carol Wright added: “We are in love with you beautiful baby girl, thank you Michelle and Mark for this wonderful gift.”
His younger sister Natalya Wright also wrote: “Our amazingly perfect girlie. Auntie & uncle love you so so much baby girl xxxxxxx.”
Wright’s cousin and former Towie star Elliott Wright wrote: “Can’t wait to meet her xxx”.
Many of their celebrity friends also shared the love, with Fitness expert Joe Wicks commenting: “Ffs I’m crying over here. I know how much you’ve wanted to be a dad, and you’ll be an amazing dad, too.”
Natalie Anderson, who starred alongside Keegan in Netflix’s Fool Me Once, said: “Oh, what beautiful news! Congratulations to you both darling.” (sic)
