Pete Wicks has taken a swipe at his ex Maura Higgins on his podcast following her reported “drunken kiss” with McFly’s Danny Jones at a Brit Awards afterparty.
The former Towie star couldn’t resist mocking the former Love Islander during an episode of his podcast Staying Relevant with best mate Sam Thompson.
Higgins and Wicks briefly dated before splitting on Valentine’s Day this year, with the I’m A Celebrity star alleging that he was “out cheating” when challenged on his whereabouts.
Last week, The Sun revealed how Jones, 39, and Higgins, 34, appeared to share a brief drunken kiss at the Universal Brits after-party before spending the rest of the evening drinking together.
The incident has caused quite a stir, with Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley now working to move past the scandal – despite reports that he has been given a “final warning” and the pair being “on a break”.
Wicks hinted at the drama on his podcast, telling listeners: “Brits, a lot happened at the Brits, an awful lot happened at the Brits. I am probably going to leave that there.

“A happened at the Brits, but we’re going to move on from that and tell you about our Brits experience,” he emphatically said before swiftly moving on to another topic.
However, the pair later returned to the night, with Wicks saying: “We then went to the Universal afterparty. Nothing happened there for us, we had a great time at the Universal afterparty.”
Thompson jumped in and sarcastically quipped: “We did it right,” before Wicks reiterated: “No, no, it’s not that other people did it wrong. No, No, No!”
The former Made in Chelsea star explained their approach to parties and said: “I meant at these parties, you don’t want to linger for too long.

“We got there a little bit early, got there before the crash happens, had a few drinks, spoke to loads of people and left at about 1am, which is the perfect time before everything gets a bit messy.”
This contrasts with Higgins and Jones, who were reportedly seen looking close at 3am before going onto a hotel and “sharing wine” until 6am.
Following the Brits controversy, Higgins has kept a low profile before flying to Los Angeles earlier this week for work – teasing some “exciting” new work despite sources claiming she has been “struggling” with the scandal.
Wicks and Higgins, who were friends for years, began dating while he participated in Strictly Come Dancing and she appeared on I’m A Celebrity, where she first met Jones.
Jones and his wife Horsley have been spotted putting on a united front following the scandal, although their conversation looked tense as they sipped on their takeaway coffee.
The couple, who married in August 2014 and have one son together, are determined to move past the incident.

A friend close to the couple told The Sun: “Danny and Georgia took time away together to talk about what happened at the Brits. It has been incredibly embarrassing for them both and Danny had a lot of questions to answer.
“Their marriage is strong, though, and Danny and Georgia just want to move on with their lives now. They are a united team and just want to focus on the future.”
