Actress Michelle Keegan and her reality star husband Mark Wright have announced the birth of their first child, a girl named Palma Elizabeth Wright.

Revealing the news on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, the former Coronation Street star said: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright 06.03.25”

Keegan, who played Tina Wright in the ITV soap, married former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright in 2015. Keegan has since gone on to star in some of the UK’s biggest shows, including Our Girl, Brassic, Fool Me Once and Ten Pound Poms, which is currently airing its second series on BBC One.

Keegan announced that the couple were expecting at the end of last year. She shared a photo of her holding her bump while standing opposite Wright on a beach.

It was captioned “2025 is going to be a special one for us” followed by a baby emoji. Keegan and Wright began dating in 2012, got engaged in 2013 and were married in May 2015. The celebrity couple now live together in Essex.

Following his time on reality TV, Wright gained further recognition after finishing as a runner-up on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011 and was a finalist in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2014. He is currently a presenter on Heart radio’s Saturday afternoon slot.
