The second site of a popular bagel business has opened in Bristol this week. Little Bagel Co. has opened its second branch on Baldwin Street, following the success of its first on the Clifton Triangle, Queens Road.

Little Bagel Co. is known for its hand-rolled New York-style filled bagels made fresh everyday. It offers a walk-in service, as well as click-and-collect and delivery, with a menu that also has cookies, coffee and more.

The new venue opened its doors to the public for the first time on Monday, March 10. Sharing a photo of its team to its Instagram page on the day, it said: “The day has come. We’re ready for you Baldwin Street.”

Its menu has favourites from smoked salmon, BLT and chicken salad to vegetarian and breakfast options, including bacon and egg and roasted oyster mushroom, house hashbrown and chimmichurri.

And fans were quick to share their excitement at the new opening in the comments in Instagram. One said: “Looking forward to lunches here!” A second wrote: “Congrats guys, you’ll smash it.”

While a third commented: “Can’t wait to come and try!”

This latest opening comes as the Baldwin Street area firmly cements itself as one of Bristol’s up-and-coming foodie hotspots. As BristolLive reported back in October, the area near to the city centre has welcomed everything from an alcoholic bubble tea place, to a new ramen bar, an award-winning Thai restaurant, and even an Asian supermarket, over recent months.

It also houses some of the city’s already-established firm favourites – from coffee shops, to the bigger foodie chains and cult favourite Sandwich Sandwich.

You can find the brand new Little Bagel Co. at 48-52 Baldwin Street, BS1 1QB. It’s open 7.30am-4pm on weekdays, 9am-4pm on Saturdays, and 9am-3pm on Sundays.
