Starting from Monday, March 17, Bristolians will be able to get their hands on a free oat flat white thanks to Oatly. The world’s largest oat drink company is going on a national sampling tour which is starting in Bristol.

Popping up for five days, the Oatly will be stopping twice in Bristol, handing out thousands of free flat whites, featuring Oatly Barista Edition. The Oatly sampling van will begin at Castle Court Sainsbury’s on March 17, and remain there until March 19. The van will then be moving to Bristol’s Millennium Square between Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21.

What’s more, if you miss the sampling van then don’t worry, as Oatly has partner with Society Café and Dareshack, to give out hundreds of free oat coffees, on a first-come, first-served basis. Society Café will be giving out coffees between March 24 and March 28, and Dareshack between March 31 and April 4.

Oatly is embarking on a sampling tour after a recent blind test suggested that potentially up to four times as many consumers prefer the taste of coffee with oat milk than currently purchase it. Indicating that tens of millions of people could be missing out on their preferred coffee experience every day.

Over 20,000 oat flat whites are being handed out nationwide, with the tour also stopping at Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds to Glasgow.

Filip Nilsson, the Executive Creative Director at Oatly said: “People love Oatly in their coffee, they just don’t know it yet!

“Our blind taste tests showed there are potentially millions of people missing out on a first-class taste experience, so we’re going on a journey to sample delicious Oatly coffees to people across the UK who may never have had the chance to try it before.”
