TV favourite Joe Swash has revealed some of the “difficult and stressful struggles” he faces at home with his spouse, former Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon.
In an intimate chat, Joe, who has three kids with Stacey, divulged details about their family dynamics, revealing they occasionally “sometimes get under each other’s feet”.
Ahead of his venture into a brand-new Channel 4 endeavour, Batch From Scratch: Cooking For Less, which sees him team up with Suzanne Mulholland to lend a hand to families stretching their food budgets, Joe offered Closer magazine a little window into his domestic life while drawing parallels with a couple in the upcoming series who “find it hard to find time together”. He explained: “I think that’s quite a fundamental part of the show, finding out the stories.”

He opened up further, saying: “I could really relate to that couple, because me and (wife) Stacey (Solomon) have got kids, and it’s difficult and stressful and sometimes you get under each other’s feet. So, for me and Suzanne to be able to go in there and sort of give them a fresh start, I found that really therapeutic.”
Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon first crossed paths on I’m A Celebrity in 2010, with Joe presenting the spin-off show and Stacey as a contestant. However, it wasn’t until six years later that sparks flew between them, leading to their marriage in 2022.
Over their nine-year relationship, the couple has welcomed three children; Rex, five, Rose, three, and two-year-old Belle.
In other news, Joe’s recent remarks coincide with the launch of the new series of Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon on BBC One. The programme follows Stacey and her team as they assist families in transforming their homes through decluttering.
Throughout the series, homeowners will witness their possessions being moved to a warehouse before making the tough decision of what to retain and what to discard permanently.
Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon is set to grace our screens tonight (March 11) on BBC One at 8pm.
