Married at First Sight Australia’s latest episode on E4 took a dramatic twist when a groom accidentally dropped his bride during their first dance.

“Warrior” Ryan was quick to apologise to his new wife Jacqui after the mishap, which left their wedding guests speechless.

The couple were seen dancing together, surrounded by delighted friends and family. “I’m going to dip you, ready?” Ryan asked Jacqui as they embarked on their first dance as a married couple.

However, as Ryan dipped her backwards, Jacqui was leaned too far back and fell over dramatically. Ryan ended up dropping Jacqui instead of dipping her, causing him to tumble as well.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer joked: “RyRy the Warrior dropped the ball (and chain! ) Best moment of the series so far.”, reports OK!.

Another commented: “Ryan, you’re that athletic and strong you dropped your wife.”

A third person remarked: “Ryan the “warrior” drops his wife doing a dip on the dance floor and wants the footage left out for HER dignity! ! ! !”

The flustered groom asked the producer if the moment could be omitted from the final cut. Ryan stated: “Can we potentially discuss afterward, leaving that part out? I’m not thinking of myself, I’m thinking of her.”

The producer responded: “We’ll talk about that later. Let’s get through the rest of the night first.”
