During the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, host Tim Lovejoy had a quick word of caution for the band Divorce as they joined the show.
After introducing the group and learning that they had little sleep following a gig the previous night, Tim remarked: “Welcome to the show, hope you have a good time!”
He asked: “Is it your first time doing live TV?” When the musicians admitted their live TV debut nerves, Tim had a reminder for them.
He warned: “Oooh, no swearing, please!” The moment lightened as the guests laughed at his friendly warning before he turned his attention towards another guest.

Later in the show, the Channel 4 presenter chatted with JLS star JB Gill. Fresh from the Strictly Come Dancing tour where he made it to the final in 2024 with partner Lauren Oakley, JB reflected on the rigours of performing.
He commented: “It’s tricky because JLS spend more time on the stage, physically busting a gut.”
Comparing the physical demands of the two, JB added: “But, with the tour, it’s a longer show, but you do more shows in a week. You’re doing almost 10 shows sometimes in a week, which is full on.”
The artist acknowledged the fewer days off during the Strictly tour but still called the experience ‘great fun’.

He added: “It was nice to be back on the road and doing something slightly different.”
Host Tim asked which one he had to be fitter for, to which JB revealed it was being on stage for JLS, not the strict dance regime of Strictly, reports the Express.
However, after some shock from Tim, JB clarified: “It’s like an hour and a half, none stop dancing pretty much. Dancing and singing, so physically for the tour anyway you have to be more fitter.”
JB went on to explain that it differs for the main Strictly show itself though.
Sunday Brunch continues Sundays on Channel 4 from 10am.
