A fresh appeal has been launched by detectives in the search for missing student Sebastian Sailes. The 21-year-old was last seen on February 27 and a new appeal has been launched for dash-cam footage to trace his last movements.

UWE student Sebastian was last seen leaving the Black Horse Pub in Chippenham at about 11.30pm on Thursday night. He was wearing a beige jacket, light blue jeans and white trainers.

A statement from Wiltshire police says: “Detectives involved in the search for 21-year-old Sebastian Sailes have issued a specific appeal for any drivers who may have recorded dash cam footage that could help trace his last known movements.

“Sebastian, 21, was last seen leaving the Black Horse Pub in Chippenham at about 11.30pm on Thursday night (27/02), walking along Lovers Walk, Chippenham.

“He is thought to have headed south on Avon Valley Walk towards his home in Notton. He was wearing a beige jacket, light blue jeans and white trainers.

“Officers would urgently like to hear from anyone who was driving along Avenue La Fleche in Chippenham between 11.20pm on Thursday 27th February and 12.30am in the early hours of Friday 28th February.

“Sebastian is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, slim build, with blond/brown hair with a long fringe.

“He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, a beige fur lined jacket and white Adidas trained with a Velcro strap across the top.
