Married At First Sight Australia 2025 has paired up ten brides and ten grooms, and while their love stories are just kicking off on UK’s E4 channel, their romantic journeys have already unfolded over several weeks on Australian television.
The series launched in the UK on Monday 3rd March, but Aussie viewers are a good five weeks ahead of us. So, those Down Under have not only seen all the nuptials, receptions and honeymoons, but also the slightly awkward initial weeks as the newlyweds move in together, meet the in-laws and partake in those notorious dinner parties and commitment ceremonies.
As always, experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla are there to offer guidance and attempt to prevent any squabbles from escalating. But which couples are still going strong and which have already called it quits?
If you’re not bothered about spoilers for the current season of MAFS Australia, read on.

Carina and Paul
Carina and Paul’s marriage almost fell apart on day one when they both confessed to producers that they had previously met and even gone on a date a year earlier. However, the spark was undeniable, and their honeymoon was rather heated, suggesting things were on track, reports the Mirror.
A significant hurdle arose when Paul confessed he’d punched a door following a disagreement, but the experts intervened and the couple’s relationship is still ongoing according to the Australian broadcast.
Lauren and Eliot

UK viewers have already witnessed Eliot’s particularity when it came to choosing a potential wife, with him proudly flaunting his extensive list of ‘non-negotiables. ‘
It won’t come as a shock to learn that the pair are no longer an item, as Eliot packed his bags and left during the honeymoon however, it might surprise some that both Eliot and Lauren returned to the show with new partners.
Eliot was matched with Veronica, while Lauren was given another shot at love with professional golfer Clint.
Katie and Tim

British audiences quickly took a disliking to Tim, who stormed off after his wedding to Katie, claiming he felt no connection with his new wife. Their wedding night was spent in separate rooms, and Katie was left in tears by Tim’s rejection.
Matters worsened at the first dinner party when Tim attempted to pin everything on his bride. It’s hardly surprising to reveal that the couple didn’t survive past the first commitment ceremony.
Jamie and Dave

Jamie let out a scream (of joy) when she first set eyes on Dave, and their romance appears to be one of the strongest throughout the series, lasting all the way to the final vows.
However, rumours suggest they are no longer together now that filming has wrapped up, leaving their current relationship status up in the air.
Awhina and Adrian

The future of this couple hangs in the balance, as despite having a strong fan base, they’ve encountered numerous challenges throughout the season. The tension began when Awhina revealed she had a son, and Adrian’s reaction was less than ideal.
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Adrian was recently spotted on a date with another woman, but he claims it was actually his twin brother James who was seen with the woman, not him – a convenient excuse.
Sierah and Billy

Unfortunately, Sierah and Billy, who had a promising start with a beautiful wedding and honeymoon, have parted ways.
Australian viewers have already witnessed their departure, which followed a heart-wrenching session on the couch with the experts, where they both decided to leave the experiment.
Ashleigh and Jake

Ashleigh had high hopes for a relationship like that of iconic MAFS couple Cam and Jules (who are now married with children), and initially thought she’d found her match in Jake.
However, the couple clashed after the infamous photo ranking session during Confessions Week, leading Jake to choose to leave the experiment.
Rhi and Jeff

As the second couple in this series who already knew each other, Rhi and Jeff had previously dated and, according to Rhi, had “friendzoned each other.”
A MAFS insider reveals that the couple does make it to Final Vows, but it’s unclear whether they’re still together today.
Morena and Tony

From the outset, Morena and Tony shared an undeniable bond, yet their journey wasn’t without its hiccups, particularly whenever Tony made his weekly trips home during the experiment.
It’s well-known among Australian fans that the pair decided to exit the show early, with both choosing to leave.
Jacqueline and Ryan

Turning to Jacqueline and Ryan, it’s speculated that the two are no longer an item, following Jacqueline’s revealing Instagram post last month. She hinted at her current happiness, saying: “Sometimes miracles happen because today I am in fact happy and in a loving long-term relationship,” without dropping any names.
However, speculations have been rife in the media about her connection with another MAFS contestant, Clint Rice – the same Clint who became Lauren’s second husband on the show.
