Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie make a rare appearance in a new video posted by Meghan Markle on Instagram.

The Duchess of Sussex shares glimpses of the young royals during a video of her making cookies alongside friends.

Meghan captioned the video: “When making thumbprint cookies at home becomes a family affair!”

It comes as Meghan Markle revealed her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have very strong American accents during a TV interview.

Host Drew Barrymore asked: “What’s your favourite thing that you see in your kids that you go, ‘Oh, that’s their dad’ ?”

Meghan answered: “Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent.

“So they’ll say, ‘Zebra,’ and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out.

“They have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him, and I think it’s adorable. Zebra is a good one.”

This creative solution helps maintain her connection with the young royals during periods of separation.

Meghan said: “I always make it a point when I’m traveling, if I can’t do bedtime stories with my kids I’ll always pack a really thin book and I’ll videotape myself reading it.”

These recordings are then played by Prince Harry or caregivers at bedtime.
