A woman from Bristol has appeared in court charged with possessing a gun and ammunition. Marie Pitman, from East Bristol, was arrested on Monday, March 3.
Police officers arrested Ms Pitman during a proactive police operation. A weapon was seized at the scene.
The 36-year-old was then charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
She appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 6 and was bailed ahead of a hearing at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday, April 9.
