David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife has been found dead. Pamela Bach was found dead at home in LA and is survived by the two daughters she had with David.
Her family “hadn’t heard from her in days”, it is reported. The celebrity website TMZ in America said emergency services were dispatched to her house over a report of an unconscious female late on Wednesday evening.
David issued a statement to the website. It said: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Pamela starred in Baywatch for many years alongside David. She played café owner Kaye Morgan for 10 years on the show.
She also starred in hit US TV shows such as The Fall Guy and TJ Hooker. Pamela met David on the set of Knight Rider, the classic 1980s TV show. They met in 1985. Four years later, they married in December 1989.
After 17 years of marriage, in January 2006 David announced that he was filing for divorce. The split was finalised in August that year.
They had both appeared on the CBS daytime show The Young and the Restless, although not at the same time. Pamela appeared in 1994 as Mari Jo Mason. David starred as Dr Snapper Foster between 1975 and 1982.
