There is a lot going on this weekend, from the start of March Break for the kids (and teachers and other school staff), to International Women’s Day, to Daylight Saving Time (woohoo to springing forward!).

Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival

Get ready to laugh your you-know-whats off over 10 hilarious days with more than 50 high-energy showcases of contemporary sketch comedy, drag, storytelling, musical comedy, and clowns, as well as the 8th annual TOsketchfest Film Festival, featuring hilarious shorts and micro-shorts from all over the world.

The spectacular 20th anniversary edition is at the Theatre Centre and Comedy Bar Bloor until March 16.

Flowing For Our Sisters

This two-hour yoga event is focused on women’s empowerment, strength, and inspiration, and what’s even more worth flexing is that 100% of the funds raised benefit Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter.

Immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations of a singing bowl soundbath paired with guided breath work to calm the mind and restore balance. Who doesn’t need all that?

Get into the flow at 10XTO at 107 Princes’ Blvd. on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Ontario Science Centre Experiences

Discover, play, explore and enjoy imaginative adventures and STEM-filled fun where curiosity meets hands-on learning.

Visitors can head to either KidSpark at Harbourfront Centre where kids ages 10 and under can have a blast at the learn-through-play interactive space, or check out special interactive exhibits at Sherway Gardens where it’s a circus — literally — featuring an exhibition that explores the science behind classic circus acts.

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Dive into adventure at the spectacular attraction, where unforgettable experiences are waiting beneath the surface.

Some of the March Break highlights include shark tunnel thrills, where guests can walk through the thrilling Dangerous Lagoon and come face-to-face with sharks, stingrays and sea turtles. There’s also the Touch Tanks, as well as daily dive shows.

Ripley’s features special extended hours next week and will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Arcadia Earth

Toronto’s most immersive adventure offers families the perfect opportunity to explore, learn and create together this March Break.

Interactive exhibits and installations help transform education into an unforgettable adventure where visitors of all ages can unleash their creativity with eco-friendly arts and crafts including rock painting, making personalized bookmarks and creating their own unique, sustainable wrapping paper.

All the fun’s at Arcadia Earth Toronto at The Well from Monday to Thursday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Minecraft Overworld

With the upcoming theatrical release of A Minecraft Movie, fans can enter an immersive, pixelated paradise featuring a landscape of pixel-perfect cherry blossom trees, an interactive LED portal, and characters from the film.

Experience this other world (overworld?) at Yorkdale Shopping Centre from Saturday to March 16.

Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival

You know spring is around the corner when it’s maple syrup festival time.

Come out and tap into nature, enjoy demonstrations and activities and savour all the syrup you can handle. You’ll be bouncing off the trees in no time.

Get ready for a sweet ride at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Park in Whitchurch-Stouffville and Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan from Saturday to April 6.

Treewalk Village and upla

For those who may have indulged in some maple treats at Bruce’s Mill, burn off that sugar rush by bouncing to new heights in a series of elevated trampolines, passageways, rope bridges and towering slides in a wondrous forest village.

Toronto Bicycle Show and E-Bike Expo

Check out the latest in bicycles, e-bikes, new products and new technology at Canada’s main cycling event of the year, not to mention one of the largest bicycle consumer shows in North America.

Ride on over to the International Centre in Mississauga on Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
