BBC Breakfast star Carol Kirkwood had a succinct reply when her colleague teased her live on the air on Thursday (March 6) morning.
The show’s hosts, Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt, were delivering updates from the UK and globally when they transitioned to Carol for the weather forecast. She was broadcasting from a pod on the London Eye in anticipation of its 25th anniversary coming up on Sunday (March 9).
Spotlighting Carol’s choice of location, Naga remarked, “She manages to pick some great places to bring you the weather. Don’t you, Carol?” to which Carol responded: “Absolutely, no complaints from me at all, Naga.”
From her unique vantage point on the Eye, Carol indicated that the timing couldn’t have been better, saying: “I’m on the London Eye this morning. Look at the view I’ve got, we couldn’t have asked for a better day weatherwise either.”

With the weather predicted to be a mix of sun and breezes across England and Wales and more unsettled conditions hitting Scotland, Carol provided viewers with an upbeat weekend forecast, hinting at temperatures potentially rising to a mild 15-16 degrees.
However, she tempered expectations by noting that the warmth would be short-lived, adding, “But then into next week, it looks like the temperatures are coming down,” reports the Express.
Concluding their exchange, Naga and Carol both advised viewers to enjoy the present sunshine before the weather takes a turn for the worse next week.
“Well, I think we’ll just talk about this week then, don’t we?” a hopeful Naga noted, with Carol concurring: “I think that’s a really good plan, yes. For once Naga, we agree on something!”

Naga cheekily retorted: “I know! I’ll tell you what, I think it’s because all the air up there has gone to your head. We’ll resume once you come back down to ground.”
Taken aback by her colleague’s jest, Carol couldn’t help but amusingly say: “You rascal,” before the broadcast switched back to the Salford studio.
In other segments of today’s programme, Naga and Charlie briefed the audience on the latest developments out of Ukraine amid President Donald Trump’s halt on military assistance to Kyiv.
The anchors also addressed the cyclone alert in Australia, debated England’s potential smacking prohibition, and examined the forthcoming surge in stamp duty.
