Many music fans will be wondering if they still may be able to get their hands on Glastonbury tickets, as The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo have been announced as joining Neil Young as headliners for this year’s festival. A general sale took place in November, with thousands of people scrambling to get their hands on tickets online.

If you missed out, fear not, because there is another chance you’ll get to go to Glastonbury. While organisers have not yet confirmed dates for the annual resale, music fans should keep their eyes and ears open, as it could be quite soon.

Last year, he annual resale took place on two dates in April. The ticket and coach package tickets went up on April 18, with remaining general admission tickets being sold on April 21.

It is not known how many tickets will be resold, as this depends on how many people have not paid in full after putting down deposits during November’s general sale. 2024’s resale tickets sold out in minutes, so you need to make sure you’re registered in advance, and poised to make your purchase should you be lucky enough to get through on the day/s.

You should only buy tickets through official festival channels, or risk being scammed or hit with unexpected fees. Tickets cost £355 plus a booking fee, for standard tickets, and you’ll have to pay in full at the point of booking.

Another way you can get to Glastonbury this year is by volunteering at the festival. Registration to volunteer for charities WaterAid and Oxfam have closed, but spaces do occasionally become available if people drop out.

Registration is still open to volunteer with Greenpeace: anyone who is selected will be granted free entry to the festival and three meals a day. In return, you are expected to work a minimum of five eight-hour shifts during the festival.
