Two cars were engulfed in flames following a three-vehicle crash in Co Down, with one person hospitalised.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) responded to the incident in the Dublin Road in Castlewellan shortly after 10am.
Firefighters were called to reports of two cars on fire following a three vehicle road traffic collision.
One person was left in the care of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS).
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
A spokesperson for NIFRS said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. One casualty was left in the care of NIAS.
“The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental ignition and the incident was dealt with by 11:23am.”
Police had confirmed earlier that the road was closed in both directions while emergency services attended a road traffic collision.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “The Dublin Road in Kilcoo is closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision.
“Diversions are in place at the junction of Moneyscalp Road and Lackan Road and at Market Road.
“Drivers should avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey.”
