Three males, including two youths, are facing assault charges after a weekend stabbing at Victoria Park Station.

Toronto Police said officers responded to the TTC station on Saturday at about 7:30 p.m. after an altercation involving the victim and three males in the bus bay area. The victim, a 44-year-old man, was stabbed in the lower back and taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

All three suspects fled from the scene.

Police said they identified one of the suspects on Monday and charged a 15-year-old boy with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.

Two other suspects were arrested and charged on Tuesday with a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man each charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.

Police said the adult was not being identified to protect the youths’ identities.
