A teenager has been hospitalised after a crash involving a van this afternoon (March 4). Police were called to Tenniscourt Road at around 3.30pm following the collision, in which the youngster sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Officers were called to the scene of a collision in Tenniscourt Road, in Kingswood, at around 3.30pm today (Tuesday 4 March), following a collision involving a van and a teenage pedestrian.
“The teenager was taken to hospital by land ambulance, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
“The road was initially closed while emergency services responded, but has since been reopened. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. If you were in the area and witnessed the collision, or have footage of it, please call us on 101 and quote reference 5225056437.”
