Sky has started March with the return of a popular deal offering its TV, Netflix and broadband bundle at its ‘lowest ever price’. The Essential TV and Full Fibre 150 broadband package is now available for £35 per month, a £5 discount from the usual cost.
Sky said that ‘our lowest ever price is back’ as it launched the deal that allows customers to save £120 over the life of the plan. The Essential TV pack provides access to more than 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic – home of The White Lotus and The Last of Us – Sky Arts and Sky Sports News, as well as major free-to-air channels like BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
The bundle also includes free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions, with the option to add Sky Cinema and Sky Sports for an additional £10 and £20 respectively. The deal also comes with 150Mbps fibre broadband with no upfront costs to get things up and running.
Sky is among the providers to implement the new One Touch Switch scheme, meaning customers don’t need to contact their current broadband provider to switch as Sky will handle the process on their behalf. Sky has also recently launched its new Ultimate TV pack, offering more than 40 additional channels – including Sky Showcase, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries and Sky Comedy – for an extra £4 per month.

This is all accessible via Sky Stream, the company’s new device that delivers TV and streaming services through WiFi instead of a traditional satellite dish, reports the Express. To operate effectively, it requires a minimum speed of 25Mbps, so it’s advisable to check your available speeds during checkout.
It’s also worth noting that securing the lower prices means committing to a 24-month plan, while Sky says its prices ‘may change’ during the minimum term, including the annual price rise implemented by many firms each April. The new deal comes as Virgin Media is offering its rival Bigger Combo bundle for £34.99 per month, which comes with more than 200 TV channels and 362Mbps fibre broadband.
Virgin offers a raft of Sky channels with its TV bundles, including Sky Showcase, Sky Max and Sky Comedy, but keep in mind that Sky Atlantic is not available. However, Virgin’s contracts are shorter than Sky’s, running for 18 months compared to 24, meaning you’re free to renegotiate your contract or shop around sooner.
