Lola Young is set for an even bigger 2025 as she seemingly confirms her appearance at Glastonbury. The 24-year-old songwriter rubbed shoulders with music industry heavyweights like Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter at the Brit Awards last night.

Lola, who shot to fame with her TikTok viral hit ‘Messy’ which has topped the UK Singles Chart, has previously played Worthy Farm, in 2022 in the dedicated dance music area, Silver Hayes.

But having been nominated for the Brits rising star award in 2021 and came fourth in the BBC Sound of 2022 competition, and having been nominated for Brit awards this year, she will be on a much bigger stage, as the Metro reports.

In a red carpet chat with Sian Welby and Zeze Millz, the London-born artist revealed some exciting plans. When asked about her upcoming projects, Lola said: “Yeah, I’ve been knee-deep in the studio finishing my second proper album, and then I’ve got a show on Monday, my headline show in London, then Coachella, Glastonbury… it’s wild.”

Te lineup for Glasto 2025 is shaping up, with Neil Young confirmed as a Pyramid Stage headliner. Sir Rod Stewart is also set to perform in Sunday’s Legends slot, following the tradition of artists like Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie. Other artists who have confirmed their participation include Nile Rodgers and CHIC, and Goldie, as the Metro reports.

The official Glastonbury lineup is typically announced at the start of March, so the wait for the poster reveal might not be too long. The complete lineup is usually released in May.

As always, speculation is rampant about who will grace the stage, with current bets favouring Sam Fender and Olivia Rodrigo as potential headliners.
