Three teenage girls have been charged with manslaughter following the death of a 75-year-old man in north London.
Fredi Reviro died in hospital on Friday after being attacked on Seven Sisters Road in Islington the previous night.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the three girls, aged 14, 16, and 17, were initially arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm before being charged with manslaughter.
Reviro, thought to be a Bolivian national, was assaulted at approximately 11.35pm on Thursday.

He was treated at the scene by officers and paramedics before being taken to hospital.
Despite medical intervention, Reviro died the following day.
Metropolitan Police said his family are being supported by officers.
A special post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course to determine the exact cause of death.

The three teenage girls, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 3 March.
The incident has shocked the local community in Islington.
