Bristol independent cafe restaurant Taste of Napoli has announced the opening date of its second venue in the city. The family-run eatery already has a site on The Horsefair in Broadmead, which is known for its Italian menu ‘typical’ of the family’s Neapolitan heritage.

Posting to Instagram, the team said: “We’re thrilled to announce that we are expanding our culinary journey! While our beloved Broadmead location remains open, we’re excited to welcome you to our new spot at 48 Park Street.

“We are ready to embrace this new adventure and can’t wait to serve you starting March 1, open every day from 9 am to 6 pm. Join us as we create new memories together. See you soon!”

BristolLive first reported the upcoming opening back in October when signage was put up at the new address – number 48 Park Street. Situated next to Mrs Pott’s Chocolate House, around halfway up Park Street, signage stated that the new restaurant would be “opening soon”.

Taste of Napoli is described on its website as having “arose from a desire to introduce authentic and traditional Italian street food to Bristol”. It also stocks a wide selection of authentic Italian produce available to buy, to “create your very own Taste of Napoli at home”.

Items on the menu will include pizza, arancini, focaccia, paninis, calzone, lasagne, coffee, and more. Taking to the comments, fans and locals were quick to share their excitement at the news. One said: “Can’t wait to see the new place! Congratulations to all involved.” A second wrote: “So excited about this!”

A third commented: “They are so good!”
