Marks and Spencer’s has wowed shoppers after uploading a video of its latest co-ord. The high-street giant has released three brand new matching fashion pieces that are impressing customers. Some have been so impressed they describe the new clothes as something Julia Roberts’ character Vivian Ward would have worn in Pretty Woman.
Others say Marks and Spencer’s is “stepping up” and describe the co-ord as “unreal”. On TikTok, Marks and Spencer’s shared a video of what it is calling “co-ord of the season”. The video features the store’s Tailored Single Breasted Longline Waistcoat (£45), Tailored Collarless Blazer (£69) and Woven Pleat Front Wide Leg Trousers (£39.50).
The clip has been watched now more than 144k time and the comment section has been flooded with messages of praise from viewers. Han said: “It’s giving pretty woman in the best way.” Taylor put: “M&S is stepping up and as a 36 year old millennial, I’m here for every minute of it.” Lily asked a friend: “How unreal?” Lucezena wrote: “I actually rate M&S.”
The Tailored Collarless Blazer is £69 and comes in a pale yellow – perfect for spring. Sizes range from a UK six to a UK 24 – but some are already selling out fast. Marks and Spencer says: “Complete your weekday wardrobe with this smart blazer. Designed in a comfortable regular fit, it offers easy layering for work or beyond. The streamlined shape and single-button fastening ensure a sleek, modern silhouette.”
As the blazer has been newly added, there isn’t very many reviews, but from the ones that already exist, shoppers have rated the blazer 4.2 stars out of five. One said: “This jacket is a beautiful colour, buttercream would be how I describe it.
“It is comfortable with slight stretch, has lovely detail on the back and the lining is robust, cotton I think. Anyway I love it and it is true to size. I bought the waistcoat to go under it, I like it so much. Collarless is good for me because collars irritate me sometimes. Very, very stylish.”
A second put: “I was really delighted with this jacket. It is quite a small fit but has a little belt with buttons at the back which can be undone to create a wider fit. The colour is lovely and it looks great with black or navy trousers or jeans for a more casual style and matching tops. I like the fact is has no collar and is a good length. It’s a spring/summer jacket so isn’t too thick but I wouldn’t want bit thicker for warm weather wear.”
A third said: ” Find anything with this shade of pale yellow is hard, and the colour is really beautiful. The fit is perfect. I’m usually between size 6-8 and I’m small chested so the fit works perfectly.” However, they did add: “The material is thinner than you’d expect for £69, for me it only works on warmer spring days.” Another said the blazer “runs small”.

The Tailored Single Breasted Longline Waistcoat costs £45 and is crafted from wool-look fabric for a “premium” feel. It’s designed in a tailored fit for a smart silhouette and features added stretch for comfort. The sleek, collarless design fastens with a neat button at the front, and has a longline shape for a modern touch.
In the reviews, one shopper said: “Lovely got the trousers to match nice light weight nice fit great price great colour.” Another wrote: “This is lovely! The colour is a buttercream, very soft and flattering. I will wear this in summer on its own and in colder spring with the jacket -so nice. True to size, slight stretch, comfortable with lovely detail on the back.”
A third put: “Loving this waistcoat, suffice to say it’s very reminiscent of a higher priced version!” However, one said: “Absolutely loved this one. Unfortunately with the trousers being see through I had to return it as you cannot wear it woth any other colour. Lovely fit and quality though.”
As for the Woven Pleat Front Wide Leg Trousers, which cost £39.50, most sizes have either sold out or are low on stock. But a similar alternative is available at Marks and Spencer’s with its Cotton Rich Palazzo Trousers. The trousers are available in three different colours – including a similar pale yellow shade – three lengths and various sizes.
