The plane set off from the airport and promptly returned to the runway after discovering the blaze.

Another aircraft earlier this week had to make an emergency landing at the same airport on Tuesday.
The flight 1544 took off from Newark Airport early in the morning at 6am and was set to descend on the Harry Reid International Airport in Nevada.
However, the plane was forced to divert its journey and take its passengers back to New Jersey as the pilots have blamed a mechanical problem, Port Authority officials reported.
The plane had 176 passengers on board, as well as six staff members.

So far, the airline has not specified the mechanical problem.
