Canadiens rookie forward Emil Heineman missed 14 games with an upper-body injury he suffered on Jan. 13 when he was hit by a car as a pedestrian in Utah.
The Canadiens went 5-8-1 with Heineman out of the lineup and fell behind in the race for a wild-card playoff spot. With Heineman back in the lineup, the Canadiens won their first two games.
