Oisin Brady came alive before the break with Cavan in control at half-time. Daniel and James Guinness alongside Pat Havern lead the way for Down.

A strong finish from Wexford isn’t enough to take any points from the game! The Yellowbellies outscored Galway by 0-6 to 0-1 in the closing stages, but the Tribesmen held onto their lead for victory.
