Prince Harry has lifted the lid on Meghan Markle’s social media tactics in a new interview.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently travelled to Canada for the Invictus Games.

However, Meghan, 43, left the country early, returning to California to be with her children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

This meant the Duke and Duchess were forced to spend Valentine’s Day separately.

As a result, Meghan posted a sweet Valentine’s message to Prince Harry on her Instagram page – @meghan.

The mother-of-two wrote: “Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families.

“Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created.

“My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you. #lovewins. As ever, M.”

When asked how he felt about the shout-out, Prince Harry told Us Weekly: “Yes, the Instagram shout-out was very sweet and much appreciated!”

Prince Harry also opened up about Meghan’s longstanding support for the Invictus Games.

He claimed the Duchess “has been part of this community since shortly after the Orlando Games in 2016 and has loved every minute of it. There are so many special memories.”

The Duke recalled a moment at the Invictus Games in 2018 when he had a “genuine concern” for Meghan.

Harry admitted he got a “bear hug” from one well-wisher in Sydney and his “genuine concern that he might try the same with my wife, who was pregnant at the time!”

The 2027 Invictus Games are due to be held in Birmingham, which the father-of-two is very excited about.

Prince Harry said: “Birmingham for us, is a very, very emotionally connected place.

“A lot of these guys, they woke up in Birmingham after being blown up in Afghanistan.”
