Jermaine Jenas will have the chance to bag himself a lucrative $10million (£7.92m) over the weekend as he appears at the Icons Series golf event.
The former BBC star was sacked by the broadcaster in August after a workplace scandal involving inappropriate messaging of female co-workers.
After months out of the limelight, the ex-England international is starting to get his career back on track and already has returned to talkSPORT.
And now the former Tottenham and Newcastle footballer will travel across the world to take part in a star-studded golf event alongside several other ex-Premier League stars.

Called the ‘Icons Series’, the brand describes itself as the ‘biggest, boldest cross-section of world class athletes and fans’ and an event between Team England and Team World will go ahead over March 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Legendary golfers Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia will captain Team England and Team World respectively.
Alongside Jenas on Team England includes football legends such as John Terry, Robbie Fowler and Paul Scholes, as well as former Soccer AM host and Prem star Jimmy Bullard.
Team World also contains top stars such as David Ginola, Carlos Tevez and Luis Figo – while the event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
All eyes will be on 12th hole at Robinswood Golf Club where a hole-in-one would bag the winner a cool prize of $10m.

All 24 stars from both sides will attempt the shot, including Jenas, taking place on a 170-yard par-3 which will require players to hit over a water hazard.
If a player manages the feat, a share of the winnings will be donated to the player’s chosen charity and the Icons Foundation.
Fans are able to get involved and even win themselves a portion of the mammoth prize fund by registering online.

Jenas was dismissed by the BBC last August after explicit texts were sent to two female employees.
At the time, the former Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder was presenting The One Show, as well as appearing as a pundit on Match of the Day.
His other media duties included roles with TNT Sports and talkSPORT, who he has not worked with since the incident – though that looks set to change.
Speaking to The Sun, Jenas admitted to feeling guilt and apologised to his wife Ellie Penfold, who he has been married to for 14 years and has three children with.
“I feel ashamed. I feel I’ve let everybody down – friends, family, colleagues,” Jenas said after confessing to the allegations.
He also went on to criticise the BBC, saying: “The handling of the situation wasn’t great. It was quick — and hell. I don’t think there was a game plan for when they were going to announce they’d fired me.”
