After the Canadiens beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-0 Tuesday night at the Bell Centre, Martin St. Louis said it’s hard to teach young players how to play the game while also teaching them how to win.
In Year 3 of the rebuilding process, St. Louis said the Canadiens are now learning how to win. They have won two straight games after coming off the 4 Nations Face-Off break to move within five points of the final wild-card playoff spot in the Eastern Conference..
On this week’s Hockey Inside/Out show, former Canadiens defenceman, assistant coach and 1986 Stanley Cup champion Rick Green and Gazette columnist Jack Todd join Stu Cowan to discuss the signs that this Habs team is really learning how to win.
The panel also discusses which players have impressed them the most since the break and what GM Kent Hughes might do ahead of the March 7 NHL trade deadline.
