Champions League presenter Eva Murati has spoken out against online bullying she has faced since beginning her television career as a teenager.
The 29-year-old Albanian host revealed she started working on TV at just 17 and subsequently faced harsh criticism about her appearance.
Despite building a following of over one million Instagram fans, Murati has been forced to develop resilience against those judging her based on looks rather than professional merit.
The presenter has been anchoring Champions League coverage for Vizion Plus and Tring TV since 2017.

Murati recently shared a TikTok video addressing those who have bullied her online.
“I started working on TV at 17 years old, got bullied by haters online and had to learn to validate myself,” she wrote.
“Stopped seeking external approval and found strength in internal validation. Now your words mean nothing to me.”
The post prompted supportive responses, with one fan commenting: “You’re very beautiful, how can anyone bully you? It sounds bad and wrong.”

In a follow-up post, Murati highlighted what she sees as a gender disparity in how public figures are judged.
“Unfortunately, unlike male public figures, women are bullied for trivial things like the way they did their makeup, their hair, the outfit they chose, and other things that have nothing to do with their professional work,” she stated.
The fluent Italian speaker has continued to build her career despite these challenges.

She studied law at the University of Tirana whilst simultaneously developing her media presence.
Murati’s career extends beyond sports presenting, with successful ventures in modelling and acting.
She took a year off presenting in 2016 to focus on acting, appearing in three films alongside TV series and stage performances.

The Albanian presenter has also hosted “Finding Miss Universe Albania”, a programme seeking the country’s beauty pageant representative.
Her Champions League presenting role began in 2017, where she works alongside a panel including former Sunderland player Lorik Cana.
That same year, she also became host of the show “Sports Week”.
