Princess Kate and Prince William were forced to divert their journey from England to Wales due to flooding.
GB News understands that the Prince and Princess of Wales travelled by train to Pontypridd today but were delayed by more than 90 minutes due taking a diversion to avoid the flooding.
Prince William and Princess Kate visited Pontypridd in south Wales today, ahead of St. David’s Day celebrations on 1st March.
The royal couple spent time with members of the local community, hearing about life in the Welsh town.

Pontypridd Market has been a community cornerstone since 1805, housing a diverse range of businesses.
These include butchers, green grocers, cafés, toy stores, book shops and textile companies.

A highlight of their market tour was a visit to The Welsh Cake Shop, which has been serving traditional Welsh cakes for over 25 years.
The Prince and Princess met the current owner to learn about the business.
They then tried their hand at preparing and cooking Welsh cakes themselves.
