A club manager of a Premier League team has admitted to arranging a ‘cash for sex’ deal with a teenage girl he is accused of raping.

The club boss cannot be named for legal reasons and is being sued by the alleged victim for aggravated damages.

It has been alleged that the woman was raped by the man at his home when she was 15 years old after being invited over to talk about a potential career opportunity.

The Athletic report that High Court papers say the man admitted to initiating a ‘cash for sex’ arrangement while the woman was 16 or 17.

He also claims that she made contact with him over multiple times to offer sexual favours for money.

A signed statement said: “On the vast majority of occasions (he) has declined offers of sex, although he has engaged in sexual activity with the claimant on up to about 15 occasions in total over the years, for which he rewarded her with cash payments in line with her expectations.

“On one occasion, the defendant engaged in sexual activity with both the claimant and her sister, both of whom were looking to earn some cash.”

The man, who has been called JZX to protect his anonymity in court, insisted the allegations were ‘dishonest and malicious’.

Despite the alleged victim coming forward in 2021 and claiming she was raped at the age of 15, the Crown Prosecution Service left the case on file.

The Premier League boss was not arrested as a result due to a legal technicality.

Because the woman had waited too long to report the claims due to the alleged offence happening several years ago.

Legislation, which has since changed, states that if a girl aged between 13 and 15 had a year to report an alleged offence that happened between 1956 and 2004.

However, the alleged victim has still taken the man to court, suing him for aggravated damages for sexual assault and intentional infliction of injury.

It has been claimed that the Premier League figurehead was showing her around his house before subjecting her to a ‘disgusting and traumatising’ ordeal.
