Jane McDonald has sparked joy among her followers with the reveal of her new project. The beloved TV star, who bid farewell to her role in the Channel 5 series Cruising in 2020, took to X on Tuesday evening to announce that she’s partnering with JetSetTV for their debut endeavour.
With excitement, Jane, aged 61, posted: “I’m thrilled to share that I’m teaming up with JetSetTV for their first project! Find out more on my website.”
A statement released on her webpage outlines the significance of this venture: “This marks the start of a new chapter in my eight-year collaboration with Executive Producer Mark Powell.
“The upcoming series will be produced by Kieron Collins and Mark Powell through their company JetSetTV and will hit your screens in January 2026.
“This is an amazing project and we can’t wait to give you all the behind-the-scenes scoop on the production soon.
“But for now, it’s time to pack our bags and get ready for an exciting filming adventure!”

During her time on the show, she presented eight series and showcased 38 cruises, earning her the nickname “Queen of Cruise.”
Jane television career spans over two decades, dating back to her debut in 1998 on the BBC One documentary series The Cruise. The 12-episode series drew in 13 million viewers, catapulting Jane to instant fame and making her a household name.
