A person driving dangerously in Newry narrowly avoided colliding in pedestrians and dog walkers, police have said.
Police was alerted to a car driving dangerously on the grass of First Avenue on Tuesday February 25, at around 7.45pm.
It has been confirmed that there were no injuries.
Police are appealing for information that may lead to the identification of the driver of the car.

In a statement a spokesperson said: “Police in Newry received a report this evening at approximately 7.45pm of a vehicle being driven dangerously on the grass off First Avenue, almost colliding with several pedestrians and dog walkers.
“Thanks to the members of the public who reported this, the vehicle has now been taken off the road. We’re very fortunate the grass was the only casualty tonight.”
Police shared a picture of the car concerned, a Black Kia Rio, with registration YEZ4837.
The spokesperson added: “We are appealing for any witnesses to identify the driver and possibly passengers who clearly have no regard for the safety of the local community.
“Please contact us on 101, quoting reference 1684 of 25/02/2.”
