Jason Scoop, the Donald Trump impersonator who taunted Alec Baldwin outside his home, is alleging that the actor’s wife, Hilaria, chased after him following his viral exchange with the actor.

In a video that was posted to social media earlier this week, Scoop, who was dressed up as Trump, hassled the 30 Rock star over the 2021 Rust shooting that claimed the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

“It’s your favourite president,” Scoop said as Baldwin unloaded luggage from a van. “Look, Alec, I will offer you a total pardon, because I want to be friends, right? I want to be friends. I will give you a total pardon for murdering that woman if you kiss the big beautiful ring.”

As Baldwin — who did his own Trump impersonation for four years on Saturday Night Live— tried to ignore him, Scoop would not let up. “Look at Alec Baldwin, right? He did that impersonation of me. It was not too hot, not too good. But look, we’re back in office. (The Democrats) lost. Kamala (Harris) lost. She’s somewhere getting intoxicated. Look at that suitcase,” he continued mimicking the president.

But after the Oscar nominee paid for his ride, he lost his cool and laid into Scoop.

“You got a camera on me here?” Baldwin said, cornering Scoop and getting right up in his face. “Look at me. I want you to look at me. You realize my kids live in this building? I want you to know something. I want you to be real careful. If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f***ing neck in half and break your f***ing neck right here. You know that, don’t you?”

Now speaking to TMZ, Scoop says the altercation intensified when Baldwin’s wife Hilaria, 41, pursued him “around the block” trying to grab his phone.

His wife chased me around the block after (the exchange with Alec),” Scoop claimed. “She lunged for my phone. Miss Hilaria, she’s like, ‘Come here’ … I immediately recognized her (as) the ‘cucumber lady.’ That was the lady who pretended she couldn’t pronounce cucumber, pretending to be Hispanic, meanwhile she grew up in Boston.”

Scoop lamented the fact that his cameraman didn’t capture Hilaria’s alleged outburst.

“That was gold. That might’ve been bigger than me and Alec … his 43-pound wife was chasing me down in high heels trying to grab my phone,” Scoop said.

Scoop admitted that he debated whether to treat Baldwin with “kid gloves” for the part he played in fatal shooting death of Hutchins.

“But then I remembered that he mercilessly mocked my man DJT (Donald Trump) for four years straight on SNL, so I was like, let’s go scorched earth. The people wanna see scorched earth,” he said.

When asked if he “got nervous” confronting Baldwin, Scoop admitted he was scared.

I definitely thought he was going to physically hit me. 100%. Yeah,” Scoop said. “Yes, I did get a little nervous. He’s a scary man.”

Reps for Baldwin did not immediately respond to Postmedia’s request for comment.

Afterwards, Scoop posted a video in character as Trump to his Instagram in which he called Baldwin “unhinged” and made fun of Hilaria’s claim she was of Spanish heritage.

“This is a person who is mentally not there … These people are sick,” Scoop said.

But an insider connected to the couple told PEOPLE the Baldwins “take the privacy and security of their children very seriously, and there’s nothing more important to them than their family,”

“This comedian saw this as an opportunity to gain notoriety and waited outside of his apartment building for Alec to come home, and while Alec was unloading his bag started screaming in his face. Alec asked him to leave multiple times. Did Alec lose his temper? Yes,” the source continued.

“But would any parent have lost their temper when a stranger was screaming with their kids just a few feet away? Yes.”
