North West 200 record holder Alastair Seeley will return to road racing’s showpiece week this May after missing last year’s event.
The Carrickfergus native missed the 2024 North West 200 because of the unavailability of a competitive bike. This year, however, Seeley will take his place on the grid on an SMS/Nicholl Oils Racing BMW M1000RR after signing a deal with Steven McShane and Gary Nicholl.
Seeley is targeting a milestone 30th victory around the famous Triangle course at the age of 45.
Seeley said: “The main thing for me is that I am coming back on what I feel will be a competitive machine.”
