Boots has slashed the price of a dermatologist-approved cleanser, offering two for just £10. Thanks to Boots’ £10 Tuesday deal, shoppers can grab The INKEY List Oat Cleanser Duo for less than half its usual price.

Typically, The INKEY List Oat Cleanser Duo retails at £24, meaning fans of the brand can save £14 with this 24-hour offer. The cleanser, which is designed to melt away makeup, SPF, and impurities, is highly recommended by board-certified dermatologist Dr Jenny Liu.

On her popular YouTube channel (@dr.jennyliu), Dr Liu praised the oat cleansing balm, saying: “This is just such a nice hydrating, nourishing, gentle cleanser It contains oil derived from oats, and I love this one because you can use it in so many different ways.

“Number one, it’s just a great gentle cleanser for dry and sensitive skin. Two, if you love double cleansing, this is a great cleansing balm to really effectively remove makeup and sunscreen, and on the website [it says] you can actually use this as a shaving cream or even leave it on for a few minutes and it’s more of a nourishing mask.”

As The INKEY List’s website explains, the cleansing balm can be used in several ways. “For an extra nourishment boost, leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off like a hydrating face mask. You can do this 1-2 times a week. In addition, it can be used as a shaving balm or a makeup remover,” The INKEY List advises.

The cleanser has received rave reviews from customers, earning over 500 five-star ratings, reports the Mirror. One happy shopper said: “Well worth the hype! This is a fantastic cleansing balm and a little really does go a long way.”

Another added: “So lovely, really nourishing. The best I’ve ever used.” Someone echoed: “I have been using this product for a couple of years now, and this stuff is amazing! Great balm for my first cleanse removes all of my makeup and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and is gentle enough even for eye makeup.”

A different fan shared: “Really love this cleanser it doesn’t sting eyes and it’s great to use as a mask too bought it a few times now.” However, not everyone was so impressed. Someone else commented: “It is so hard to squeeze the product out of the packaging, which means the product separates (oil first). This is the best cleanser I’ve used, but the packaging is just so bad for the product.”

A second thought: “The tube is too thick, it’s really difficult to squeeze out the product after you’ve used about 1/2 of it. I couldn’t squeeze out anymore and ended up cutting open the tube to get at the product. I scooped out 2 big tablespoonsful of product and put it in a jar.”

Another reviewer said: “I had high hopes for this due to many good reviews, but unfortunately, I don’t think this agrees with my skin. It does seem to help melt away makeup but is very thick and seems to leave a greasy feeling on the skin even after washing with water multiple times.”
