Prince William and Prince Harry remain “at war with one another” following former royal aide Jason Knauf’s first television interview, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths has suggested.

Speaking about Knauf’s appearance on 60 Minutes Australia, Griffiths characterised his comments as a potential “indirect attack” on Harry and Meghan.

Jason Knauf served as press secretary to both Prince William and Prince Harry before their relationship became strained, appearing in a new documentary “Where There’s A Will” on 60 Minutes Australia.

Originally from New Zealand, Knauf worked closely with both princes and their wives before leaving royal service.

Ben Leo asked: “Is this an indirect attack on Harry and Meghan?”

Charlotte Griffiths responded: “I suppose you could characterise it as that, for sure. And its the first time he’s spoken since all of this happened because he kind of went to ground after that and just didn’t really speak again.”

Ben asked: “So, for this to have come out now, it makes me think William must have given him permission.

In his first TV interview, Knauf stood firmly by his previous actions, stating he has “no regrets” about raising concerns over alleged bullying.

“I wouldn’t change anything,” Knauf told 60 Minutes Australia.

Knauf described the strained relationship between the royal brothers as “hard and sad,” noting that William has chosen to remain “private” about the matter.

“You can’t choose just to take the fun stuff in any job, and that applies to the prince and princess too. So, I wouldn’t change anything,” he added.
