Monday night’s episode (February 24) of Married At First Sight UK saw a reunion that escalated quickly into a fiery dinner party.
Lacey and her ex Nathan, who had initially started on a civil note, soon found themselves embroiled in a heated argument which culminated in Lacey making a dramatic exit.
Nathan expressed his frustration over feeling that their relationship was lopsided, with him always being the one to travel for visits, not Lacey.
The tension peaked when Lacey produced a letter, read it aloud to Nathan, and then abruptly left without allowing him to respond.
Viewers were incensed by Lacey’s actions and took to social media platforms, including X, previously known as Twitter, to voice their opinions, reports the Daily Record.
One viewer commented: “She didn’t let Nathan get a word in edgeways, gave him no opportunity to say his piece.”
Another vented: “Lacey, you are so vindictive. Just shout to get your point across, then just walk away! If you ever supported Nathan’s struggles, you would’ve never overwhelmed and attacked him like that.”
A third remarked: “Well we all know who came out of that better. Nathan, you’ve done yourself proud #mafsuk.”
And yet another said: “Lacey came with her plan, she was gonna cry, read her letter and bounce. Nathan telling us the truth was not a part of her plan, poor him #mafsuk.”
A fifth viewer commented: “She’s a nightmare, there’s a reason she didn’t let Nathan say one word because she didn’t want him to show her up #mafsuk.”
Meanwhile, a sixth chimed in: “Nathan is a very straight-forward guy. I don’t believe he has any reasons to lie #MAFSUK.”
As the reunion drew to a close, the couple parted on good terms with Nathan expressing to the camera: “I wish her the best and hope she finds the right person for her.”
