Last year, E4’s Married at First Sight UK had viewers glued to their screens as 12 brave couples tied the knot with strangers.
The series was a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring fiery arguments, tears, and even the occasional drink thrown.
While not all participants found romance, many forged strong bonds, like Amy and Adam, who were initially matched with Polly and Luke.
In a sneak peek of the reunion special, the group is seen gearing up to face the daunting ‘truth box’, which Kristina dubs ‘the box of horrors’. Apprehension is written all over Amy’s face as she braces for her question, muttering: “Oh no, no, no, no.”
When Adam lifts the lid and glimpses the inquiry inside, his reaction is one of sheer astonishment, marked by a high-pitched squeal of discomfort before he quickly shuts the box, reports OK!.

Turning to Amy, he reads aloud from the card: “Amy, why do you think people are so keen to see us become a couple?” After a moment of contemplative silence, the reality TV star finally articulates her thoughts. She answers: “I think it’s because we bring out the best in each other.”
We bounce off each other, and we have an amazing friendship. We’re always laughing. You care about my feelings, I care about yours, and we just support each other through everything.”
As Amy shared her sentiments, the other stars at the table appeared touched by her heartfelt words, while Adam refrained from meeting her gaze.
Once she concluded, Kristina responded with a warm: “Aw, that’s cute!” She then asked whether there was potential for their friendship to evolve, to which Amy humorously replied that she ‘can’t comment’ as it wasn’t part of the honesty box exercise.

Adam chimed in: “I’m sorry, but if you want that question, you best go type it up!” This elicited a burst of laughter from the room, with Orson eager to delve deeper.
He questioned about any romantic exchanges between them, as Adam clarified: “There’s been no kissing… so far.”
His comment didn’t go unnoticed by the group as he slyly took a sip of his drink. The crowd, rooting for a love story, began cheering for a kiss.

However, the duo swiftly changed the subject, asking who was next to answer a question. In a separate cutaway from the group, they discussed their relationship.
Amy expressed: “I’m not sure what the future holds for me and Adam. I don’t think the book is fully closed.” To this, Adam responded: “Maybe some little mini Adams could be on the cards? Or maybe we could just practice.”
Caught off guard by his comment, Amy chuckled before awkwardly looking away.
