SHAPIRO AND ATKINS FAIL AGAIN
The handling of Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero by the team’s brain trust Shapiro and Atkins is a fiasco. Failing to have him signed prior to the signings of Shohei Ohtani and Juan Soto was a disaster. Both fail to realize the affect their failure will have on the team’s fan base. It only confirms that head honcho Edward Rogers has little interest in his team. Atkins’ recent team acquisitions are a bunch of no-names devoid of any decent stats. Included are the desperate signings of veteran Anthony Santander and Max Scherzer, a 40-year-old pitcher on his way down. Shapiro and Atkins failed in their attempts to bring a winner in Cleveland after 15 years, and in Toronto we’re in year 10 and counting with no crown.

(Perhaps this is some grand strategy which only they know about and will somehow magically put together a winning team? Maybe they also believe in unicorns)

JAYS’ BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD HAVE TO GO
I’ve been a Jays fan since Day One. I will no longer watch or follow the team until Beavis and Butthead are shown the door. Rogers Communications, sell the team and find a real owner. All you’re concerned about is putting butts in your overpriced seats. Willing to spend almost a billion dollars to lure players who never intended to sign here in the first place. All that did was drive their price up to a real team. You can’t find money to sign home-grown talent, you are pathetic. Vladdy, I wish you the best wherever you wind up. At least I have fond memories of 1992-93 seasons when there were real owners. Rogers, go away and take your overpriced cable network with you.

(It appears the current leadership has no idea how to turn things around)

LIBERALS’ CIRCUS
Carney for leader. What an appropriate name for the leader of a circus.
