The most explosive series of ITV’s Masked Singer to date saw singing sensation Macy Gray dramatically leave the stage after being unmasked earlier she’d expected in the competition.

This year’s sixth series became a hot topic not only because of Macy’s memorable exit but also for delighting fans with standout performances and numerous astounding reveals.

Judges Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, and Davina McCall all faced criticism for seemingly overlooking apparent celebrities during their depiction process, including EastEnders’ star Natalie Cassidy.

With gripping moments from the outset, the 2025 series of The Masked Singer has consistently sparked online discussions, with fans eagerly sharing their predictions up until the final unveiling.

Thanks to its undeniable popularity and increased viewership, it won’t shock fans that ITV is believed to have confirmed the continuation of the show into 2026, reports the Mirror.

She beat formidable rivals, including soul and jazz icon Gregory Porter who snagged the runner-up spot, even though Mo Gilligan pegged him early in the competition.

In third place was Wolf, unmasked as Scottish singer Marti Pellow, which did not surprise audiences at home who insisted they’d guessed his identity from the start.

The Masked Singer UK will be back on ITV and ITVX in 2026.
