2024 saw a huge hit for E4 in the form of Married At First Sight UK, following all manner of romantic connections, intense fallouts, and heart-stopping drama.

The long-awaited reunion special will be bringing back the original cast to provide updates on what has transpired in their lives following the show’s wrap and promises a fresh dose of confrontation.

Devotees of the popular program will be thrilled to learn the episode will make its way to screens come Monday, the 24th of February, airing at 9 pm sharp on E4.

Those viewers that fail to catch the episode in real-time may watch an encore showing one hour later at 10 pm via time-shift channel E4 +1, whilst further streaming options are open using 4OD services.

The proceedings were captured last October, although finer details were closely guarded, cast members did hint at ‘fireworks’, reports the Daily Record.

Notably, stars from the most current series are due to feature alongside personalities from the 2023 show at a countryside retreat reunion dinner.

Series notable Nathan Campbell, who initially got paired up with Lacey Martin, only for things to later fizzle, has raised anticipation by providing Yahoo an early scoop in November, stating: “There are some major revelations, a lot of them spilled the tea!

“Things came to light that had everyone gasping. MAFS old and new faces were in the same room, and there were fireworks! “.

He closed his remarks by saying: “I can’t say too much, but if you thought the series was dramatic, viewers should buckle up for this reunion.”

The pair split after cameras stopped rolling, leaving fans gutted since they were considered one of the strongest duos. With all the couples from the 2024 series now separated, the upcoming reunion is set to be quite the cringeworthy viewing.

In a conversation about the break-up, Nathan told the publication: “I have a lot of respect and care for Lacey. We both wanted different things.”

He reflected further on his experience, “I went on the show to find love, and sometimes things don’t work out, but everything happens for a reason, and I’m so grateful for the time we shared together.”

Despite being upset by the split, he stated: “Whilst I was hugely disappointed by the break up, and heartbroken, I respected her decision to part ways and I have nothing but love and good wishes for her.”

The engineer concluded with fond memories of their time on the show: “I wouldn’t have changed anything on the show, and despite what happened behind the scenes, I would still have chosen Lacey to be my bride, and I have nothing but respect and love for her.”
