The Chase host Bradley Walsh was quick to issue a warning to one player after he made a ‘silly’ decision – and viewers were not best pleased.

During Wednesday’s (February 19) episode of the ITV hit show Bradley, 64, was back on our screens with four hopeful contestants aiming for a substantial cash win.

The team taking on the challenge was Liam from Derbyshire, Katy from the Isle of Wight, Qahir from Bromley and Anne from Manchester, as they faced Darragh Ennis also known as The Menace in hopes of taking home thousands of pounds.

However it was one moment with contestant Qahir that had everyone talking. In a desperate attempt to do anything to make it through to the final he decided to play for the low offer of -£1,000.

Bradley was quick to warn: “You’ve gone for minus one. It would be a waste of my time if you don’t go through now, I have to be honest.”

Viewers watching at home were also quick to share their reaction as one wrote on X, formaly known as Twitter: “#thechase lowest offer w*****, channel changed!” (sic)

Meanwhile another fumed: “No!!!! What is this! Minus £1,000 Offer taken! I have absolutely had enough! How on earth is this even possible! Why are the producers always casting useless players who opt for the stupid low offer! This has gone completely out of hand and must end now! #TheChase.” (sic)
